Crew Trade Ward to Colorado for Nico Hernandez |

From this mornings dispatch: The Crew fortified its improved but inconsistent offense yesterday by acquiring Colorado Rapids forward Nicolas Hernandez in a trade for defender Tim Ward and a third-round supplemental draft pick in 2009. Hernandez, a 28-year-old Argentine, is a versatile player who could compete with Alejandro Moreno for the No. 1 striker position or play in the midfield. He is expected to partner with fellow Argentine Guillermo Barros Schelotto, whose play last season helped to improve what had been Major League Soccer's worst offense in 2006. US Open Cup Game Announced for May 27 |

The Crew has announced that the team will play the winner of San Jose and Real Salt Lake on Tuesday May 27 at 7:30pm. The RSL-San Jose game is scheduled for April 30 at Salt Lake. More info can be found in at thecrew.com |
