Updates on Schelotto and Zurawski |

From today's Dispatch comes some updates on the offseason reports about Schelotto and the Polish manager saying he and Zurawski both want him in Columbus. 1) Despite playing politics in the offseason in his home country, Schelotto seems very happy to be back. 2) Everyone wants Zurawski here, so let's get him here already... These two up top could be pretty promising. Schellotto can serve up balls better than most even in SPL so Zurawski could tear apart MLS defences. |

 As most of you now know most of the NorthEnd is gone with the addition of a permanent stage in the offseason. We are taking this opportunity to try to join forces so to speak with the other supporters groups in one area of the stadium as we move down to 101. In working with the crew front office we have established a general admission supporters section stetching accros the North East corner of the stadium.
The price of season tickets in 101 will be the same as the rest of the northend if you buy them by March 1st: - Adult Full Season: $252
Student/Youth Full Season: $180- Adult Half Season: $180

Some interesting and disheartening news the MLSRumors blog today: The Washington Post's Steve Goff is reporting Columbus Crew defender Marcos Gonzalez (not to be confused with forward Marco Gonzales currently playing for Catolica) wants to join the club that tried to sign him back in 2006. The Brazilian-Chilean has represented Chile 5 times, most recently in qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup.
Hopefully this rumor isn't true, as Gonzales has been one of the few bright spots lately. |
