Busy few days we just had with home games the last two Saturdays and Newcastle friendly this past Tuesday with some pickup games sprinkled in. With no home games till August 13th we get to catch our collective breath a bit, but doesn't mean there isn't still plenty going on including a viewing party and a pick up game this weekend. It's also time to turn our focus back to the Philly bus trip in September we hope to sell out soon.

Crew at Salt Lake Saturday at 9pm

The travel west to take on Salt Lake Saturday at 9pm and you can join us at Fourth Street to take in all the action. Come out early and watch the Barcelona-ManU friendly at 7pm as well as MLS action kicking off starting at 7:30.

Newcastle Friendly

While the game didn't go exactly as plan I don't think there are many people they didn't have a great time with Newcastle and their fans in town. Everyone seemed to love the scarf you see above as we all but sold out of them.

The party Monday night was Massive, but those are the only kinds of parties we know how to throw. We collected $250 for Mid-Ohio Foodbank, as part of the raffle for a signed Danny O'Rourke jersey and jubulani ball, which we then matched bringing the total raised to $500!

There were many Newcastle fans who came out too, thanks to everyone from Toon Army America who helped promote this event.

Philly Bus Trip

On Saturday September 17th the Crew travel to Philly to take on the Union in what will likely be an important match in the eastern conference standings. We'll be taking bus over for an overnight trip. We think this trip will sell out quick so reserve your spot quickly!

The cost of the bus trip is only $110 and includes: match ticket,bus trip, food on the way up, beer on bus and hotel (based on quadruple occupancy).

Crew Union Pick Up

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the pick up games we've been holding there has been demand for holding weekend and weekday games. We started by holding a successful session on Wednesday on fairly short notice. So starting this week we'll be having two sessions each week, Sunday evenings at 7pm and Wednesday evenings at 7:30. Don't forget to join the Crew Union Pickup group to stay in the loop on weekly pickup games.
