If you missed last Saturday's game I'd try to give you a recap but wouldn't do it justice, do yourself a favor and read Sirk's Notebook from the match. There was so much going on that in an odd way the game was almost an afterthought to the evening.

If you stayed up late Wednesday you know the Crew fell to league leading LA and are now looking to get back on track against Portland. It's a busy few days for us with the Portland match Saturday, pick up soccer on Sunday, the massive supporters party Monday night and then the Newcastle Friendly Tuesday. 

Portland on Saturday

The Crew take on Portland Saturday at 8pm which means the tailgate will be going strong by 5pm. The 'Old Farts' are hosting this one meaning there will be FREE FOOD! They'll be cooking up wings and fries for this one. Like always if people want to bring something it would be greatly appreciated, but it is not a requirement to come over and share in the food and fun. Stop on over, say hello, enjoy some beverages and food and get ready to beat up on the Timbers.

Newcastle Friendly

Crew Supporters Union in conjunction with Toon Army America and Fourth Street Bar & Grill are throwing a massive party the night before the Crew-Newcastle Friendly and we hope you'll join us!

Fourth Street is fencing in their back parking lot for a beer truck and live music from The Nephews. There will be 1/2 price drinks and apps till 9pm, a raffle for an autographed O'Rourke jersey and probably a free commemorative shirt giveaway. It will also be there first place you can get your hands on the sweet Crew-Newcastle Friendly commemorative scarf we put together.

Nordecke Tickets

If you still need tickets in the Nordecke for match against Portland Saturday or the Newcastle friendly Tuesday please email Kev as soon as possible to make sure we have enough tickets for everyone! Tickets for both matches are the usual $20 for members and $23 for non-members.

Crew Union Pick Up

Pick up this week will be at 7pm on Sunday at OSU. Heat should be down a bit from the temps we were seeing this week. Due to the large amount of interest we've had in pickup we're looking to also start doing a week day pickup game, so look out for that. Don't forget to join the Crew Union Pickup group to stay in the loop on weekly pickup games.
