Crew - Colorado

The reigning MLS cup champs and the team that knocked Columbus out of the playoffs last season come to town this weekend for a rare Sunday evening game. For those that don't know the Crew are doing a number of Independence Day themed things around the game, including post match fireworks.

We'll be having another 'hosted' tailgate with free Chili Cheese Coneys for the game. There will be Slaw for those that like it and a veggy choice or 2. If people want to bring something to share that would be good but again, not a necessity to come by and enjoy the tailgate. Stop on by, grab a coney or 2, share a beverage with friends and get ready to beat the rapids.

As with all of our hosted tailgates we will have a Free Will donation jar for the Crew Soccer Foundation and will also be collecting cans and dry goods for the Mid Ohio Food Bank. Both are great causes and if you can spare a can or two or a dollar or two it would help out.

Reminder that if you need tickets, please shoot an email to Kevin (kmmc[at]crewunion.com) to reserve your tickets.This guarantees you tickets and helps us have an accurate count of how many tickets we'll need. It's easy to pick them up at the tailgate and we can take cash, check or credit. You can of course also just go buy them through our online store. Only $20 for members and $23 for non-members (compared to $27 through the Crew).

US Open Cup

The Crew will begin play in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup tournament on Tuesday, June 28 at 7:30pm. The match will be played at Crew Stadium two days after hosting Colorado against Richmond who defeated Pittsburgh last night in round 2.

The Crew Union has $10 tickets available for the US Open Cup match on Tuesday June 28^th. Unfortunately we have to submit our order this Wednesday night so please email ASAP if you would like to reserve tickets. The US Open Cup match is NOT part of the full/half season ticket packages. We will purchase some extras which will be available to season tickets holders on a first come first serve basis however quantities will be limited. The Crew Union will be able to purchase additional tickets after Wednesday but they will at the $15 rate.

We will have $10 tickets for Crew Union season ticket holders if you reserve/pay by Wednesday. For non-season ticket holders it will be $12 if you reserve tickets by Wednesday and then $15 for everyone after Wednesday.

Gold Cup Semifinals: US-Panama

The US looks to get some revenge on Panama for a loss in the group stage on their path to the finals tonight. The match kicks off at 7pm from Houston and you can join us at Fourth Street to take in all the action on FSC.

Crew Union Pick Up

The first few sessions of Crew Union Pick Up have gone really well with at least 11 for every outing. With Crew games Sunday and Tuesday, we're going to give Saturday at 2:30 a try (well before Gold Cup final and all the MLS games Saturday). Join the facebook group if you're interested to get updates on when we'll be getting together to play.

Newcastle

As you all know the Crew are hosting Newcastle on Tuesday July 26th, well mark your calendar off for the night before the Newcastle Friendly, actually you should probably just take Tuesday off work now. We're working on hashing out the details, but looks like we could be throwing a party that could top Crewsmas Eve. Hope to have more details to share soon!
