Our second straight meaningless win on the road provides a cap for the intriguing yet utterly disappointing 2007 season.

Schelotto must like the Giant Razor. The Crew win but are officially eliminated by virtue of Chicago's tie against DC United. We haven't played a playoff game since The Penalty Kicks.

We controlled the game, yet scored two fewer goals. And the playoffs were lost.

Black Sunday came and went with the Crew now two-points adrift from the final playoff spot. The Crew simply choked. Here was there best opportunity to pick up points at home and they let the Galaxy score two very cheap goals due to lack of simple clearances. Frankie Hejduk was impliedly at fault in both instances. Some douchebag named Kyle Martino even scored.

Columbus struck twice in the second half to erase a halftime deficit on the road for the first time in Club History to secure all three points for the Massive Club and keep its hopes of limping into the playoffs alive and well. Eddie "That's So Gaven" Gaven was given Man of the Match honors for busting his hump setting up a goal by Jason Garey. Jacob Thomas finished the scoring with a nice goal after barrelling into the Toronto box like a freight train.

Ohio, USA 2 : Ontario, Canada 1. Take that you jerkface TFC board spammers.

Kansas City scored twice in second half stoppage time to beat Columbus. Crew were down 1-0 at the break, but struck back for two goals in quick succession for a 2-1 lead. A dubious penalty was awarded to KC in 91+ min and then Scott Sealy buried a header in the 94th.

I feel as though my innards are being extracted from by body with a hook.

Second verse, same as the first.

Edward Gaven put the Crew up in first half stoppage time. Joe Thomas should have had a second but some how missed a wide open net. That miss foreshadowed the inevitable late defense breakdown when Miglioranzi and Hesmer got their wires crossed allowing Connor Casey to tap in a header from 5 yards out in the 80-somethingth minute.

A share of the points at home. What a surprise.

Columbus let an early lead fall late through a defense lapse and a determined run by former Crew forward Joseph Ngwenya. We scored through a nice piece of work from Barros Schelotto and a calm finish by Moreno.

Great crowd, poor soccer. 103 tailgate was enlivened by the Fado's bus. Sadly the section had nary to cheer about. Better times ahead.

Chicago and Columbus both shared the points as a full crowd at Toyota Park went home disappointed (as usual). Herron had the best chance of the night stopped by the goalkeepers face.

Schelotto hammers home a penalty kick and Gaven makes like a sleepy levitating ninja to score our second goal, as Columbus again takes 7 points in a week, and climbs right back into the thick of things.

A run of play befitting a massive club.

Kei Kamara leapt toward the sky and headed the glossy sphereoid downward where it bounced on the chalky line, under Waterreus's gloved hand, and twicked the net to deliver the Ohioans much joy.

We have won three games in a row.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto did not play, but he is surely a winner.

Nothing better than winning. . .

Except for winning while playing a man down for an hour when your goal keeper stops a penalty kick taken by some jackwad named Kyle Martino.
